Formerly known as TheThunderRoad.Com, we recently changed our website name to USMotorcycleRentals.Com to reflect the true nature of our business. According to many customers and industry experts, our previous name reflected a heavy Harley Davidson overtone. In fact, our metric fleet is by far our most rented motorcycles. In addition to changing our website name, we moved our offices in April 2009. We are now located on “Motorcycle Rental Row” at 589 Bryant Street in San Francisco. Our new location is conveniently located at the end of the 4th Street Interstate 80 freeway exit for east bound travelers and two blocks away from the 5th Street exit for west bound travelers.

US Motorcycle Rentals has the best selection of motorcycles for rent in Northern California. We realize that not everybody wants to ride a Harley Davidson therefore we proudly offer a superior selection of both American and Metric motorcycles, scooters and dirt bikes. Our rental fleet features the latest motorcycles from Harley-Davidson®, BMW, KTM, Honda,  Hyosung, Kawasaki and Yamaha. All of our Harley Davidson motorcycles have Stage One performance upgrades and additional safety improvements to ensure you have a fun and safe rental experience.

Every model has been specifically chosen to provide the ultimate in riding excitement, performance, comfort, and style. Most importantly, every vehicle in our rental fleet is meticulously maintained beyond factory standards to ensure our customers a safe, reliable, and exciting motorcycle riding experience every time.

All of our motorcycles include the use of a clean, high quality Z1R helmet in your choice of full height, three quarter height and half height sizes. We offer optional items available for rent such Garmin GPS systems, J&M Navigator Communication systems, First Gear Kilimanjaro motorcycle jackets and pants; Icon leather gloves and high quality protective eye wear designed for motorcycle use.

Dirt Bikes & ATV’s: We are one of the only companies in Northern California that rents dirt bikes and ATV’s. Our dirt bike fleet consists of four Yamaha TT-R 230's and two Yamaha TT-R 125E's for smaller riders. We also have two American Lifan 200cc Dual Sport bikes that we rent as dirt bikes or as DMV test bikes. These bikes are street legal, they are licensed and registered and have license plates. We recently added two Honda ATV's to our rental fleet. We have a Honda TRX - 250 and a TRX - 400. Helmets are included at no extra charge. We offer an optional apparel safety package which includes boots, chest protector, knee pads, elbow pads, gloves and goggles for an additional $25 per day.
